Occupation forces demolish a Palestinian house in northern West Bank town

Occupied Al-Quds –  The Israeli military demolished on Monday a Palestinian-owned house in Kufr al-Deek town, west of the northern West Bank city of Salfit, according to a local official.

Mohammad Naji, mayor of Kufr Al-Deek, told WAFA News Agency that occupation soldiers broke into the western part of the town this morning bringing with them two bulldozers and proceeded to demolish a one-story, 150-square meter house owned by a local resident.

He said the owner was surprised when the Israeli occupation soldiers and bulldozers showed up at his house, which he has just completed and was ready to move into it, and proceeded to demolish it under the pretext it was built without a permit.

Reports said at 26 houses in the same area have received demolition orders under the pretext of construction without a permit.
