Algerian President: We have the economic factors that qualify us to join the BRICS

Algeria (ST): Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune confirmed that Algeria possesses a large percentage of the conditions and requirements that enable it to join the BRICS group.

The Algerian News Agency (WAJ) quoted Tebboune as saying yesterday, during his regular meeting with the national press, in response to a question about whether Algeria wants to join this group, “there are economic conditions for joining the BRICS group. I think that they are available in a large proportion in Algeria,” adding that we will not anticipate events, but there will be good news.

Tebboune explained that “the BRICS group is of interest to Algeria, given that it is a great economic and political power  and joining it will distance Algeria of the polarization of the two poles.”
