The Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly approved the establishment of the permanent secretariat of Asian Parliaments Association (APA)in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
During a meeting today, the Council discussed the draft agreement between the Iranian government and the APA on the rights, privileges and immunities of the APA permanent secretariat, where the deputies approved the agreement by 206 votes to 4, with 2 abstentions out of 234 votes.
Under this agreement, the permanent secretariat of the APA will be established in Tehran.
