Russian security thwarts a terrorist attack planned by Ukrainian (Right Sector) extremists

Moscow (ST): The Russian Federal Security Service announced today that it has thwarted a terrorist attack planned by the extremist “Right Sector” Nazis in Lipetsk, western Russia.

The RIA Novosti news agency quoted the agency’s press service as saying in a statement: “Three citizens of Ukraine, a man and two women who had previously arrived in Russia and had disembarked in the village of Goritsy in the Dubrovsky district of the Lipetsk region, were detained.

The statement added that, according to the investigators, the three mentioned persons arrived in Russia to detonate a large explosive device in a crowded place in one of the transport infrastructure facilities in Lipetsk.. The components of the pipe bomb were found in their hideout, and their correspondence with other members of the “Right Sector” was found and revealed their intentions.
