Russian army: We control Azov Sea and northwestern part of Black Sea

The Russian army announced today that it has absolute control over the Sea of Azov and the northwestern part of the Black Sea, as part of a special military operation to protect the Donbass population.

“The activity of the Russian Black Sea Fleet during the special military operation allowed us to overcome the enemy and impose our control in the Azov Sea and in the northwestern part of the Black Sea,” the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Igor Osipov said during the celebrations of the Day of the Russian Navy, according to RT.

He pointed out that the ships and planes of this fleet are directing strikes on very important enemy targets, and the combat units of this fleet participate in the ground offensive operations of the Russian army.
