Prisoners Affairs Authority calls on international community to pressure Israeli occupation to release prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid
The Palestinian Prisoners and Released Affairs Authority called on international community to immediately intervene and put pressure on the Israeli occupation authorities to release the prisoner who has lung cancer, Nasser Abu Hamid.
The Authority said in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that Abu Hamid is going through a very critical stage, and his health is rapidly deteriorating. He suffers from severe pain and the inability to walk and the oxygen tube accompanies him permanently, noting that he needs chemotherapy sessions and intensive medical monitoring.
The prisoner Abu Hamid, 49, has been detained since 2002.
