MPs offer condolences on the Iraqi martyrs of the Turkish regime’s attack on Duhok Governorate

DAMASCUS, Jul.26, (ST)- Today, the Syrian-Iraqi Brotherly Committee at the People’s Assembly [Parliament] offered  condolences to the Chargé d’Affairs at the Iraqi Embassy in Damascus, Yassin Sharif Al-Hujaimi, on the Iraqi martyrs  of the Turkish regime’s attack on Duhok Governorate in northern Iraq.

During the meeting, the head and members of the committee stressed the strong and historical relations between the two brotherly peoples.

For his part, the Iraqi diplomat expressed his thanks and appreciation to the People’s Assembly for offering condolences, pointing to the strong brotherly relations between the two peoples and the two brotherly countries.

On the 20th of this month, the Turkish regime committed an attack on the Duhok governorate in northern Iraq, killing 9 Iraqis and wounding more than 23 others.
