An investment license was granted for a tourism project in Tartous at an estimated cost of 48 billion Syrian pounds
The Syrian Investment Authority granted an investment license for the first four-star tourism project in accordance with the provisions of Law 18 of 2021 at an estimated cost of 48 billion Syrian pounds, as the project provides 158 job opportunities.
On the importance of the project, the director of the Syrian Investment Authority, Madian Diab, indicated that the importance of the project’s location in the Al-Heisha real estate area in Tartous governorate lies in the advantages of the tourist attractions that it enjoys, as it is located within an important tourist area, adding that the area of the land on which the project is to be built is about 15,000 square meters and contains the hotel block and various feeding points with a capacity of 1030 chairs, in addition to 4 shops. The general site includes children’s playgrounds, terraces, green areas, corridors and public services for the project.
The number of investment licenses granted by the authority according to the new investment law reached 35, at an estimated cost of 1,380 billion pounds, and it is expected to generate 3,283 new job opportunities.
