14th  Scientific Pharmaceutical Days Conference kicks off in Homs city

HOMS, Jul.25, (ST)- The 14th Scientific Pharmaceutical Days Conference, which is organized by the branch of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Homs, kicked off on Monday in the “Zenobia” Conference Hall.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the participants in the two-day conference will discuss the most important pharmaceutical developments and their applications, how to enter the pharmaceutical labor market, the physical and chemical changes resulting from mixing products and the prospects for pharmaceutical work.

The head of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate,  Wafaa Keshi, declared that the conference in being held in Homs after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona pandemic, indicating that the city has used to hold the scientific conferences since 2006.

She affirmed that the conference plays an important scientific and social role in reviewing the latest scientific developments in medicine and research to keep pace with developments In this area.

The head of the Pharmacists Syndicate in Homs, Shadi Trabelsi, said that the conference includes 23 lectures to be delivered by 17 professors and deans of pharmacy faculties in public and private universities.  

Moreover, an exhibition entitled (Pharmacy between Science and Practice) will be held during the same period of the conference where 30 pharmaceutical companies from several governorates are taking part in it.
