Tehran strongly condemns the latest Israeli aggression on Syrian territories

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression which at dawn on Friday targeted military points in the vicinity of Damascus and killed 3 soldiers and wounded 7 others, stressing that this aggression is a blatant violation of the Syrian sovereignty.

In a statement on Friday, the ministry’s Spokesman Nasser Kan’ani said that the continuous Zionist attacks on the Syrian territory constitute a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as the relevant international laws and principles.  He regretted the suspicious silence of the concerned international organizations and the human rights “advocates” over the illegal Israeli behavior.

Kan’ani called on the international community, particularly the Security Council to assume its responsibilities towards putting an end to the Israeli dangerous practices, expressing his condolences to Syria, as a government and people, and to the families of the victims of this aggression.
