Donetsk President: We intend to establish distinguished relations with Syria

Donetsk (ST): President of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushlin affirmed today his country’s determination to establish distinguished relations with Syria for the benefit of both sides.

RIA Novosti news agency quoted Pushlin as saying: “The Donetsk Republic will build friendly and mutually beneficial relations with Syria, including in the economic fields.”

Donetsk People’s Republic Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova had announced earlier that Syria would become one of Donetsk’s largest partners in maritime trade, noting that trade between the two countries could include minerals, industry, machine building and agriculture.
