Syria cuts its diplomatic ties with Ukraine

DAMASCUS, Jul.20, (ST)- Syria cuts its diplomatic ties with Ukraine, in accordance with the principle of reciprocity.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said: “ The Ukrainian government has practically had no relations with Syria since 2018 when it refused to extend visas for Syrian diplomats at the embassy in Kiev causing the suspension of the embassy’s activities due to the hostile attitudes by the Ukrainian government.
