Two young men implement the “Zip Line” tourism project in Tartous

The two young brothers, Muhammad and Ibrahim Shaheen, from the village of Brisin in the countryside of Tartous, succeeded in completing a tourism project of their own that combines sports and excitement.
The project, which they called “Zip Line”, specializes in skating, starting from the neighborhood of Dahr El Matn in the Sheikh Badr area in Tartous.
The idea of the project started during the young Ibrahim’s test of this sport in neighboring countries, including its fun, suspense and adventure, especially in light of the job opportunities it provides for young people and attracting visitors and tourists. Ibrahim pointed out that he and his brother launched the project with the aim of encouraging small and medium tourism projects relying on the magic of nature and the scenic views of Sheikh Badr, the location was chosen between the two opposite mountains that connect the outskirts of the Dahr El Matn neighborhood and the village of Al Wardia in Sheikh Badr city.
Ibrahim pointed out that the project is witnessing an excellent turnout and contributes to creating an atmosphere of joy in the region, as it attracts visitors from different governorates and provides about 30 job opportunities for young people, whether in the cafeteria or on platforms and cables. The project overlooks the “Warwar” Valley, which is an important tourist attraction in the region.
Ibrahim Shaheen revealed the intention to complete the project’s phases and expand it by constructing a swimming pool and a number of accompanying wooden huts, to be followed by a restaurant in the winter season, with the aim of increasing tourist attraction and providing more job opportunities to promote tourism in this region which is rich in scenic views.
