Awawda, Rayan prisoners, continue their hunger strike

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The two Palestinian prisoners, Khalil Awawda and Raed Rayan continue their hunger strike in protest against the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the prisoners.

The Palestinian prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority said in a statement on Monday, that Rayan continues his strike for the 103rd day, amid a severe deterioration in his health, as he suffers from high fever, inability to move, blurred vision, severe pain in the head and joints, and constant fatigue. He also cannot sleep and complains of convulsions with hands and feet, according to Wafa News Agency.

The Authority added that Awawda has continued his second strike for the 16th day after he suspended it earlier after 111 days. It indicated that his health condition is deteriorating rapidly and he suffers from a sharp drop in blood sugar, which poses a threat to his life.
