5 medals, 5 certificates of appreciation for Syria at IOI Training camp in Russia

DAMASCUS, Jul.17, (ST)- IOI Syrian Olympiad Team in Informatics obtained many prizes at the training camp, which was organized online by the International School in Informatics “Junior” for IOI Training in Russia between July 1-10 with the participation of 315 students aged between 13-16 years representing 36 teams from 16 states.

“The team managed to gain 2 silver medals plus 3 bronze ones at the programing marathon in addition to obtaining another silver medal for the whole team at the Programming Contest. The whole team gained also 5 certificates of appreciation at the contest,” Distinction and Creativity Agency said in a statement published by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The statement added that the team ranked second at the Robot programming, indicating that the camp contains many types of competitions and training methods.
