Russian senator: Threat of Ukrainian authorities to target Crimea confirms the need to eradicate Nazism

Head of the Constitutional Legislation Committee of the Russian Federation Council Andrei Klishas said that Kiev authorities’ threats to attack Crimea underscore “the necessity of eradicating Nazism and disarmament throughout Ukraine”.

“The threats from the Ukrainian military to attack the Crimean peninsula or the Crimean bridge confirm that eradication of Nazism and disarmament must be carried out throughout Ukraine, otherwise there will remain a permanent threat to our lands, our citizens and our infrastructure,” RIA Novosti news agency quoted the Russian senator as saying in a statement.

Meanwhile, political expert Raslan Balbek considered that hitting Crimea with a missile is similar to hitting the head against the wall.

Earlier, Alexei Aristovich, adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian President, threatened to attack the Crimean bridge at the first possible technical opportunity, revealing that plans were being developed in this regard.

Major General Dmitriy Marchenko in the Ukrainian army expressed his belief that the Crimean bridge would become the first target if the Ukrainian forces were supplied with the necessary weapons from the United States and Europe.

Meanwhile, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the Russian army is taking all necessary measures to ensure the security of the Crimea, considering that the threats launched by the Ukrainian side are known to the Russian authorities and are taken into account.

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian forces are targeting residential neighborhoods with HIMARS missiles, as last Monday evening they bombed the city of Novaya Kakhovka in the liberated Kherson region, causing deaths and injuries. Last Wednesday, they bombed the Lugansk lands with these missiles.
