Families of martyrs from Mesyaf city in Hama countryside honored

The General Secretariat of Hama Governorate and the Directorate for the Martyrs, the Wounded and the Missing Affairs on Saturday honored the families of a number of Syrian army martyrs.

During the honoring ceremony, Hama Governor Mohammad Tarek Kreishati said that the governorate is keen on meeting the needs of the martyrs’ families, pointing out that horning the martyrs’ families is a duty towards those who sacrificed dearly to defend the homeland.

Hasan Ibrahim Al-Shamali, the father of martyr Ibrahim Al-Shamali, said in a speech that the martyrs’ families feel proud of their sons who offered their blood and souls to defend Syria’s unity, independence and sovereignty, stressing that the heroic deeds of the martyrs will remain a beacon for future generations and an example to follow in sacrifice.

On the sidelines of the honoring ceremony an art exhibition for the martyrs’ children, as well as several artistic activities were held and food baskets and financial aid were distributed to the families of the martyrs.
