Damage caused to agricultural properties due to Israeli aggression on Tartous fixed

The maintenance teams of the Water Resources Directorate in cooperation with the locals in Al-Hamidiya area have completed maintenance and repair works to fix the damage caused by the Israeli aggression that recently targeted the area and hit the irrigation and electricity networks as well as the locals’ agricultural properties.

Mohammad Mehrez, Director of Water Resources Directorate in Tartous told SANA that the vehicles and the technical teams of the directorate have restored the agricultural lands affected by the aggression with the aim of helping the locals plant their lands again.

Maintenance covered the damaged irrigation line which waters 50 hectares of agricultural land, and today water will be pumped to irrigate the lands that were damaged due to the Israeli aggression, according to Engineer Karim Al-Mou’i from the maintenance department of the Water Resources Directorate.

Restoration works also covered some houses and greenhouses that were damaged in the aggression.
