Iranian Advisor Slams Certain Arab States for Persuading West to Attack Syria

TEHRAN – Senior Advisor to the Iranian Parliament Speaker Hossein Sheikholeslam lashed out at certain Arab countries for Encouraging the West to launch military strike on Syria.

“This is really shameful for a Muslim country to ask enemies of the World of Islam to attack Syria which is the frontline of combat against the Zionist regime,” Sheikholeslam said on Monday.

He said the White House is under the pressure of “Israel”, Arab monarchs and western warmongering capitalists to attack Syria, “thus, he is trying to receive a permission for military intervention from the Congress in a bid to deceive the public opinion”.

The call for military action against Syria intensified after foreign-backed opposition forces accused the Syrian government of launching a” chemical attack” on terrorists strongholds in the suburbs of Damascus on August 21.

Damascus has vehemently denied the accusations, saying the chemical attack was carried out by the terrorists  themselves as a false flag operation.
