Cham Wings Airlines operates its first Aleppo-Abu Dhabi flight after 10-year hiatus

Cham Wings Airlines late on Friday performed its first flight from Aleppo International Airport to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates after a 10-year hiatus.

Director of the company’s station at Aleppo airport said in a statement to SANA that opening the Aleppo-Abu Dhabi line is important to serve the Syrian community abroad, particularly on main occasions like Eid Al-Adha. She added that opening this line provides an important opportunity for all Syrian travelers to reach Syria easily, noting the company’s sought to open new stations and establish links with Arab and foreign countries.

Ghassan Akel, the Airport Officer, said that implementing this flight is a first step towards expanding the transport movement, noting the facilitations offered to the travelers.
