Booby-trapped motorcycle explodes at an SDF checkpoint in Hasakah

A booby-trapped motorcycle on Saturday exploded at a checkpoint for the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia in Hasakah.

According to local sources, the motorcycle exploded west of Al-Basel Roundabout in Hasakah, 500 meters away from the road leading to the Agricultural Institute.

The explosion caused material damage, while no casualties among the SDF militants were reported, the sources told SANA reporter.

Following the explosion, the SDF militia cordoned off the place from all directions and prevented the locals from approaching the site.
