Syria takes part in the 34th Pancyprian Festival of Youth and Students in Nicosia

The National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) has taken part in the 34th Pancyprian Festival of Youth and Students organized by EDON organization in the Cypriot Capital, Nicosia, between July 6th and 8th.

Members of anti-imperialism youth organizations from all over the world took part in the event which included political symposiums and dialogue sessions as well as a number of cultural, artistic and tourist activities.

As part of the Syrian participation, Head of the Cyprus branch of the NUSS presented a review about the events that took place in Syria during the terrorist war that has been targeting the country for years.

He reiterated that the Syrian people’s support for their army and leadership has been a super power in the confrontation of the imperialist aggression on Syria.

Stefanos Stefanou, the General Secretary of the Progressive Party of the Working People (AKEL) and the sponsor of festival, visited the Syrian stand and offered his greetings to the patriotic Syrian people, wishing Syria and the Syrian people victory and peace.
