Former US official warns of continued pumping of Western weapons to Kiev

Former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense Douglas McGregor warned against the insistence of the United States and its allies in Europe to continue pumping weapons to the Kiev regime, considering that this continued escalation could lead to “the disappearance of Ukraine from the map of the world.”

In an interview with Sky News Australia, MacGregor criticized the West’s policy towards the Ukrainian crisis and the continued sending of weapons and equipment to Kiev at a time when the only focus should be on reaching a settlement of the situation that would save Ukraine from destruction and death.

“Ukraine in principle is a failed state that can completely disappear from the world map and I think a ceasefire is necessary,” MacGregor said, stressing the need for Australia to insist on a peaceful solution because no one in Washington would do that.

Russia has repeatedly warned of the dangers of sending weapons to Ukraine.  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed earlier that the American Stinger and Javelin missiles are currently being sold on the black market and appeared in Albania and Kosovo. This is also being openly talked about and sold at a reduced price.
