Regional leadership announces the state of permanent session
Damascus, (ST)-In a joint meeting held on Saturday, the leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party discussed with the Syrian parties the latest developments in light of the threats of a possible direct aggression against Syria.
Secretaries of the participating parties stressed that the aggression unifies all the parties irrespective of political and ideological discords and that coordination and consultation will remain open until the crisis is resolved.
The participants pointed out that any political disagreement will be shelved and all efforts and parties will be united and concerted to defend the homeland.
For his part, Assistant Regional Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal Hilal voiced confidence in the Syrian parties’ steadfastness and unity in the face of the international aggression on the homeland.
At the end of the meeting, the regional leadership announced that it will be in permanent session with effect from today until further notice
