Miqdad visits Algeria to participate in the 60th anniversary of its independence

Algeria, (ST) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, arrived in Algeria yesterday to participate in its celebrations of the sixtieth anniversary of Independence Day.

Upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene Airport, Dr. Mikdad was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamraand Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab.

Lamamra welcomed the participation of Syria, represented by Minister Miqdad, in the celebrations commemorating the restoration of Algerian national sovereignty.

For his part, Dr. Miqdad expressed the congratulations of Syria’s government and people to brotherly Algeria on this great occasion.
