Weightlifter Maan Asaad wins a gold medal in the competitions at Mediterranean tournament

Algeria, (ST) – The Syrian weightlifter Maan Asaadwon the gold medal in the snatching competitions at the Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria. 

Asaad won the gold medal after lifting 102 kg weight achieving a record of 247 kg, a big difference from the second place weightlifter who scored 235 kg.

Yesterday, the Syrian weightlifter Maan Asaadwon the silver medal in the same snatching competitions at the Mediterranean Games after lifting 197 kg

It is worth mentioning that, the gold was won by the Algerian Walid Bidani by lifting 202 kg, while the Egyptian Ahmed Gaber won the bronze by lifting 170 kg.
