Palestinian prisoner Raed Rayan continues his strike for the 89th day

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Palestinian prisoner Raed Rayan continues his open hunger strike for the 89th day in protest against the continuing Israeli occupation crimes towards the prisoners.

Wafa Agency quoted the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners as saying in a statement today that Rayan, who is being held in Ramle prison, suffers from severe weight loss, lack of fluids, vitamins and proteins, and cases of dizziness and vomiting, and moves in a wheelchair.

In a statement the day before yesterday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to pressure the occupation authorities to stop their violations of the right of prisoners and release them, especially the hunger strikers, the sick and children.
