Minister of Education Darem Tabbaa and the Acting Representative of the World health Organization (WHO) Iman Al-Shanqiti on Saturday discussed means of enhancing health cooperation between the ministry and the WHO.
Tabbaa stressed the importance of supplying the School Health Directorate with mobile clinics to ensure health services in remote areas, hailing cooperation between the ministry and the WHO and the UNICEF in the efforts aiming at stopping the spread of the Coronavirus.
On her part, Al-Shanqiti affirmed the need to focus on consolidating cooperation in the field of school health to avoid infections with Coronavirus among students and on encouraging the vaccination of the teaching staff.
Director of the School Health Hatoun Al-Tawashi, on her part, clarified that cooperation with the WHO covered several sides related to the surveillance of the spread of the Coronavirus.
