Engineer Arnous reviews progress of work at Al-Rastan power station in Lattakia countryside

Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, and the accompanying ministerial delegation were briefed on the progress of work at the electric power plant in Al-Rastan in Lattakia countryside and listened to the administrative and technical cadres in the concerned companies supervising the implementation of the project to the stages of implementation.

The Director of the Public Corporation for Electricity Generation, Engineer Ali Haifa, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the works at Al-Rastan station have now reached the final stages of putting the first gas turbine into service, which is expected to be in December of this year.

For his part, the project manager from the Iranian construction company Krupp, which is executing Al-Rastan station, Yadullah Kariman, pointed out that the company is working to deliver the station according to the specified time, pointing out that the company pledged to connect the first gas turbine within four months.
