The Palestinian Foreign Ministry renews its call for international protection for the Palestinians

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed the request of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to quickly activate the international protection system for the Palestinian people and start international criminal investigations into the crimes of the Israeli occupation.

In a statement today, carried by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the death crime committed by the occupation forces against the 25-year-old young man, Muhammad Marei, during their storming of Jenin in the West Bank at dawn today, stressing that he is a direct victim of Israel’s continued impunity.

The Foreign Ministry  referred to the need for the UN Security Council to stop the policy of double standards in dealing with international issues and to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the violations and crimes that the Palestinian people are subjected to, foremost of which is the crime of occupation, settlement and murder.
