Prisoners Affairs: The health condition of prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid is in a critical stage

The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission renewed its call on the international community and institutions concerned with prisoners’ affairs to immediately intervene and pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to release the cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.

The authority pointed out in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that Abu Hamid’s health condition is rapidly deteriorating and has become in a critical and dangerous stage, indicating that he suffers from severe permanent pain in the left side of his chest.

The prisoner Abu Hamid, 49 years old, from Al-Amari camp in Ramallah, has been detained since 2002.
