Palestinians, both Moslems and Christians, are steadfast in Al-Quds Higher Presidential Committee of Churches Affairs

The seizure of Palestinian lands near Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation is part of its scheme to dominate and Judaize the occupied city of Al-Quds, according to the Higher Presidential Committee of Churches Affairs in Palestine.

The committee said in a statement on Tuesday that the occupation has seized wide areas in Al-Quds old city as it did recently in the areas of Bab Al-Khalil, Omar bin Al-Khattab Square and the Al-Batra and Imperial hotels, which all are the property of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Al-Quds.

The occupation also continues to displace the Palestinians from the towns of Silwan and Jabal Al-Mukaber and from Al-Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the committee added.

It reiterated that the Palestinians, both Moslems and Christians, are steadfast in Al-Quds. They are defending their city, heritage and history and the crimes of the occupation will not dissuade them from defending their lands. It urged the international community to pressure the occupation authorities to stop their crimes against the Palestinian people.
