Ukrainian soldier: My commanders left me wounded and ran away

Moscow (ST): A captured Ukrainian soldier confirmed that his group leaders abandoned him while he was wounded in the village of Volchyarovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic and fled.

According to the RIA Novosti news agency, the prisoner, Mikhail Nestork, said, “They abandoned me and ran away. I was alone, I broke my arm and shrapnel hit my neck. The major, the commander of our group, told me to run to the basement, hide and treat myself.”

The Russian forces had liberated the village of Volchyarovka and captured a number of Ukrainian soldiers. During the battles, the Russian tanks and infantry liberated the village, and the Russian soldiers took the Ukrainian soldier out of the basement and provided him with medical assistance.
