Israeli occupation kills a Palestinian youth in Ramallah

A 16-year-old Palestinian youth was martyred this morning after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him in the town of Silwad in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Maan News Agency reported that Mohammad Abdallah Hamed, 16, died of wounds caused by the Israeli occupation gunfire. He was detained by the occupation despite his wounds, but later, he was reported dead, the agency said.

Last night, the occupation forces stormed into the town of Silwad and opened fire on the Palestinians, injuring Abdallah Hamad before they detained him.

Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns Israel’s crime of killing of Abu Hamed

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli crime of killing Mohammad Abdallah Hamed and demanded accountability for the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, according to WAFA News Agency.

This new crimes is one of crimes of field executions committed by the Israeli occupation, said the Ministry in a statement on Saturday, hold the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for these crimes and criticizing the behavior of the international community and western states that claim to be protectors of human rights, yet practice double standards when it comes to Palestinian human rights and Israel’s obligations as an occupying power.

The Foreign Ministry said that it is pursuing these crimes with the International Criminal Court and national courts, stressing that “the silence of the international community and the US administration on these crimes provides cover and protection for the occupying power from accountability and encourages it to commit more crimes and escape punishment and international justice.
