Adham Ismail Center opens a collective exhibition in Damascus

Adham Ismail Center for Fine Arts opened a collective exhibition for the center’s graduated in which 26 students display with49 works.

The paintings display various themes including portraiture, nature, old Damascus, childhood heritage, and handicrafts. The painters use oil colors and their themes are inspired from tbe realistic school.

Participant Maya Yaqoub, participates in the graduation collective exhibition with two paintings which depict the woman in the city and the rural woman who both like to read and learn”.

“I want to focus through my paintings on the importance of learning and reading for woman because she is an important character in our society,” she added.

Dalin Al Assi, is studying at the faculty of agriculture engineering and she exhibited three oil paintings that reflect the kindness and innocence of children “ in my drawings I reflect my inner ideas and feelings” she said.

Dalin draws the children in different situations using bright colors to highlight the innocence of children.

Artist Duaa Al- Taweel draws two paintings. The first one presents the land and nature, and the second depicts the woman which is the symbol of generosity.

Also, participant Nour Al- Huda Kaddah presents three paintings inspired them from our social life.

The first one shows the deprivation of children, the second depicts the motherhood while the third reflects the deprivation of tenderness and love.

For her part, young artist Amani Al-Ghalati displayed two painting. The first painting of a young girl representing the happiness and in the second painting she draws a sad woman. She uses bright colors to reflect her inner feeling.

Riham Tarakji, shows three paintings that reflect endurance and containment the first shows, motherhood, the second the love of the husband for his wife, the third is the containment of nature for human beings.

Young artist Yasmin Qadoura, displays three paintings using oil colors in which she draws the Syrian handicrafts “I want to focus through the drawing on our Syrian heritage that passed from generation to generation” she said.
