Turkish attack causes power loss in the northern and western sides of Hasakah countryside

HASAKAH, Jun.22, (ST)- The Turkish occupation forces have renewed their attack on the villages of the western countryside of Hasakah, which led to damage to the lines of the electricity transmission networks and left Tel Tamer substation out of service.

The General Director of Hasakah Electricity Company, Anwar Okla, told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the Tel Tamer 66/20 electric substation is out  of service as a result of the damage to the 66 kV tension line feeding the station, which caused a power outage in villages and residential areas in the northern and western countryside of the province.

Okla referred to the difficulties of carrying out maintenance in the area, specifically in the village of Um Al-Kif, north of Tel Tamer, which was targeted today. “This area is located at the front lines of the deployment of the Turkish occupation forces and its terrorist mercenaries.”

He asserted that the company’s workshops will begin to maintain the damage as soon as safe access to the area is available.
