Russian Defense: More than 50 Ukrainian generals and officers killed in a missile strike

Moscow (ST): The Russian Defense Ministry announced that more than 50 Ukrainian generals and officers were killed in a Caliber missile strike targeting a command center in the Dnipropetrovsk region in southeastern Ukraine.

Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing today on the outcome of the military operation in Ukraine during the past 24 hours that high-precision Caliber missiles fired from the sea hit the headquarters of the Ukrainian forces near the village of Shiroka Dacha in the Dnepropetrovsk region, at a time when a working meeting of the leaders of the (Alexandria) strategic operational group was being held, which resulted in the killing of more than 50 generals and officers of the Ukrainian armed forces, including representatives of the General Staff, the leadership of the (Kakhovka) group, the air attack forces and the formations operating on the Nikolaev and Zaporozhye axes.

He pointed out that a high-precision, long-range (Caliber) missile strike also led to the destruction of 10 155mm howitzers mortars (M777) and about 20 combat armored vehicles provided by the West to the Kiev regime.
