Destruction of terrorist hideouts in Kirkuk, northern Iraq
Iraqi forces announced today the destruction of terrorist hideouts in the northern Kirkuk governorate.
The Security Media Cell said in a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, “According to accurate intelligence information, the Iraqi Air Force carried out seven direct strikes, which resulted in the destruction of terrorist hideouts in Wadi al-Kur and Wadi al-Shay area, south of Kirkuk Governorate,” noting that the joint forces began a combing and search operation in the target areas.
The Iraqi forces announced earlier today the launch of a security operation to hunt down the remnants of terrorists in Nineveh.
