Susan: The Turkish regime’s threats to establish a so-called “safe zone” contradict outputs of Astana

The head of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 18th  international meeting on Syria in Astana format, Dr. Ayman Sousan, affirmed that the Turkish regime continues to violate the sanctity and sovereignty of the Syrian territories, targeting Syrian territories and killing innocent people under false pretexts and arguments.

Susan said during a press conference in Nur-Sultan that the Turkish regime’s threats to establish a so-called “safe zone” contradict the outputs of Astana, and its practices amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the international community must address them.

Susan added that the illegal American presence on Syrian territory aims to impede the consolidation of stability in the service of the interests of the Zionist entity. Syria stresses the need to end any illegal presence of foreign forces on its territory.
