Syria, Republic of Crimea to enhance cooperation in the field of maritime transport

Damascus, (ST) –  The Minister of Transport, Eng. Zuhair Khuzaym, and the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation, Sergey Gudrin, discussed on Wednesday the possibilities of establishing a joint maritime transport company between Syria and Crimea.

The two sides discussed during the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Transport building, activating the relations of cooperation and economic and trade exchange between the two countries, especially in the field of transport by Syrian ships and activating the sea lines between the ports of the two countries.

The two sides also discussed activating the exchange of experiences, overcoming difficulties and creating constructive projects between the two countries in the field of ships, ports and maritime work.
