Aoun: Lebanon rejects Israeli threats and adheres to its rights and wealth

On June 13thLebanese President Michel Aoun affirmed his rejection of the threats of the Israeli occupation, which violate international laws and resolutions and constitute a violation of Security Council resolutions.

During two meetings he held with the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon Joanna Vronesca and a Lebanese parliamentary delegation, Aoun said that he will inform the American mediator in the negotiations, Amos Hochstein, Lebanon’s position on its adherence to its water and gas upon the return of indirect negotiations with the Israeli occupation entity.
Aoun expressed his hope that the talks with Hochstein will move the negotiations forward in a way that preserves Lebanon’s rights to its wealth, stressing that it is out of the question to waive these rights.
