Iranian Foreign Ministry condemns the Israeli aggression on Damascus International Airport

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned the Israeli aggression on some parts of Damascus International Airport, stressing that the right response to this aggression is continuous resistance until the Israeli entity is defeated.

In his weekly news conference on Monday, Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh said that peoples of the region know that resistance is the right response to the aggression of the Zionist entity, which always tries to cover its internal crises by attacking others.

In a different context, Khatibzadeh said that the anti-Iranian resolution issued by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency was a completely political action that was planned in advance.

The agency’s resolution accuses Iran of not cooperating with the UN nuclear watchdog.

Khatibzadeh pointed out that the adoption of this resolution has disrupted the path of cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.

He pointed out that the Zionist entity, supported by the United States, is exploiting the agency to achieve its interests, stressing that the Agency is controlled by the United States and the European Troika and Agency’s decisions were made according to these parties’ dictates.

He went on to say that Iran’s response to the resolution issued by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency doesn’t violate the comprehensive guarantees deal, urging the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi to focus on the parties that are not members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
