Moushaweh discusses with the Brazilian Ambassador ways to enhance cultural relations

The Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Moushaweh, discussed with the Brazilian Ambassador in Damascus Fabio Vaz Petaluga the strengthening of cultural cooperation and ways to develop it and the re-launch of the Brazilian Film Festival in the Syrian governorates.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Culture published on its official platform on social media, the two sides confirmed the depth of relations between the two friendly countries at all levels, which extend for more than 75 years.

During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Culture building, Dr. Moushaweh reviewed the general cultural scene in Syria, the status of antiquities during and after the war on Syria, and the measures taken to preserve and restore archaeological monuments, museums, historical cities and old markets that were systematically damaged by armed terrorist groups supported by some Western countries, as well as the efforts made by the competent authorities to recover the stolen artifacts.

Ambassador Petaluga explained that the meeting comes within the framework of enhancing the exchange of experience and delegations between the two friendly countries and discussing ways to strengthen relations between them.
