Washington Post: US-British move to train Ukrainian forces to use MILRS rocket launchers

The American newspaper, the Washington Post, revealed that the United States and Britain have drawn up plans to train Ukrainian forces to use the MILRS rocket launchers, in a new indication that confirms Washington and its allies’ insistence on prolonging the Ukraine crisis.

The newspaper pointed out that the US military will train “a faction of Ukrainian soldiers at this stage, while the British side intends to train another military faction according to the joint plan.”

In an attempt to justify the new move to train Ukrainian forces on advanced weapons, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Forces Mark Milley announced earlier that “the United States should start a rational and thoughtful program that trains the Ukrainians to the point that they are effective,” considering that “just dropping the high-precision weapon system in battle will not bring any benefit and training is required for maximum effectiveness.”
