Two tourist groups of different nationalities visit Bosra Al-Sham

Two tourist groups of different nationalities have paid a visit to the city of Bosra al-Sham in the countryside of Daraa, with the aim of viewing the ancient archaeological sites and learning about the history of the city.

The two groups include nationals from Australia, Norway, Brazil, Switzerland, Britain, France and Denmark.

The tourist Carlos Hans from Brazil said: “I came to Bosra and was surprised by the beautiful scenery and the friendly treatment of the people, and I saw the theater, which is very impressive and beautiful.”

“Bosra is actually more beautiful than photos,” said the tourist, Ben from Australia, adding: “Bosra is an amazing and exceptional place, especially the theater and the old city.”

Eli from Scotland, who visited Syria several times, had a beautiful impression during his visit to Bosra about it and its theater, which he did not expect to be so perfect.

An Australian tourist explained that he saw many pictures of Bosra on the Internet, but the reality is more beautiful. Macias from Denmark expressed his pleasure to come to Syria and see the landmarks of the city of Bosra and its theater.

The tour guide, who accompanied the groups, drew tourists’ admiration for the antiquities in the old city, its Nabatean and Roman history, and the techniques used in designing the theater, which are considered to be of high quality.

For his part, the Director of Daraa Tourism, Yasser Al-Saadi, indicated that the city of Bosra is witnessing frequent visits after lifting the precautionary measures to deal with the Coronavirus, indicating that the directorate is working to promote tourism in the areas and direct tourist groups to the city.
