Russian MoD: Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists escalate attacks in Idlib de-escalation zones

The terrorist groups in the Idlib de-escalation zone have intensified their attacks on safe areas and Syrian Arab Army points in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

In a statement on Sunday, the deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria’s Hmeimim, Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, said that over the past day, the terrorists of Jabhat Al-Nusra carried out 12 attacks from their positions in the Idlib de-escalation zone. 6 of these attacks targeted Aleppo and the others targeted Idlib.

Zhuravlev stressed that the ringleaders of the terrorist groups operating in the de-escalation zone were building up reserves and intensifying training and combat activity.
