National dialogue , the best solution to the crisis in Syria, says Mansour

Lebanese Minister of  Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour  has asserted that finding a solution to the crisis in Syria depends basically on holding a national dialogue and on Geneva statement , warning against the hazard of “armed groups” coming from outside on the security of Syria.

During activities of the first session of the Arab Russian Forum held recently  in Moscow, Mansour said: “We are supporting the Russian stance toward Syria”, pointing out that the foreign intervention in Syria will only lead to the deterioration of circumstances in the country.

Mansour called for launching a national dialogue for preserving Syria’s unity, clarifying that Lebanon is standing with Russia for attaining this target

There is no doubt that that terrorism threatens all of us, so we have to shoulder responsibility of confronting it, Mansour said, underlining the necessity of differentiating between terrorism and people’s demands to liberation.

Regarding the Palestinian issue, Mansour referred to Israel’s incessant aggressive activities in violating the international community and UN resolutions.

“We are fostering the Russian stance calling for making the Middle East a region empty of weapons of mass destruction”, Mansour asserted.
