Syrian parties and unions support President Al-Assad’s plan

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Syrian parties and unions stress the significance of President Bashar al-Assad’s political plan to end the crisis in Syria.

The Progressive National Front (PNF) said the political plan outlined by President Bashar Al-Assad in his recent speech is the ‘only way’ to rescue Syria and preserve its unity and independence.

The Front’s parties along with popular organizations are to work to implement what they called the ‘promising national program’.       

The ”Souria al-Watan” Party has said the political plan is a ‘positive and good’ base to launch a comprehensive national dialogue.

It sees that dialogue conference must be convened in Syria, rebuffing encroach on Syria’s sovereignty.

Lawyers Union said the plan reflects national vision plus aspirations of  Syria’s honest  citizens.

SANA quoted the Union’s statement as saying: “Lawyers Union completely supports the plan”, expressing readiness to take part in the dialogue to make the ‘historical plan’ that preserve Syria successful.

In addition, the union underscored it shores up the government’s statement as regards restoring stability to Syria.

Artisans’ General Federation said the plan help enhance national unity and prevent foreign forces from shredding this unity.

Expatriates and students

Syrian Communities and students in Cuba and Slovakia also backed the president’s plan that guarantee the homeland’s sovereignty, asserting that it proves the Syrian government’s determination to go ahead in a political reform process.

“The countries that oppose this plan are against the Syrian people’s interest” , the Syrian students in Havana told SANA reporter.

They praised president Bashar Al-Assad’s wise policy to foil a plot that aims at fomenting sedition with the Palestinian citizens in Syria.

In Slovakia, the Syrian expatriates said the President’s plan is a serious opportunity to open a new page entitled ‘reconciliation and restoration of stability and security’ with a view to building a new democratic Syria that is more strong.

The Syrian students and expatriates hailed the Syrian Arab Army’s sacrifices given up to combat terrorism and extremism which the west is seeking to plant in Syria.

They  appealed to regional and international parties to support the president’s plan through stop arming and funding the terrorist groups in Syria and to encourage the Syrian national dialogue.
