Iranian President Stressed Repercussions of Enemy Plots on Syria, Egypt

TEHRAN, (ST) – Iranian President Hassan Rohani stressed that the lack of security and the spread  of chaos in the region are in  the interests of the Zionist entity , in particular,  calling on the peoples of the region to work for  restoring  security and stability to their  territories.

In statements he made on Saturday, on the sidelines of the ceremony of renewing  Iranian Cabinet ‘s Pledge of Allegiance to the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran , late  Imam Khomeini, the Iranian President added:  “The state of  instability and terrorism, which dominates the region indicates very clearly that the enemy plots hatched in advance against the region , where  repercussions of this plot are  evident in both Syria and Egypt. “

Regarding the allegations about the use of chemical weapons in Syria Rohani called on the international community “in the name of Iran , being a victim of chemical weapons , to make possible efforts to prevent the use of this type of banned  weapon in all parts of the world.”

On the other hand President Rohani  strongly  condemned  the Israeli air raid against Lebanon  on Friday, when  the Israeli warplanes raided al-Naeema valley south of Beirut , which did not result  in  human casualties or damages, according to a statement by the Lebanese army.
