fried cauliflower

 

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  • I head of cauliflower
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 8 cups of water
  • 3 table spoons of Olive Oil (if baking in oven)

PREPARATION:

  • Cut cauliflower into bite size buds.  Soak in 8 cups of water and 1 table spoon of salt for 15-20 minutes. Remove and pat dry on paper towel or place in colander until dry.
  • Heat fryer until oil is hot, place cauliflower in oil until golden brown ( about 5-10 minutes)
  • Remove and sprinkle with salt ( optional)

To make this even healthier place cauliflower on baking sheet mix with 3 table spoons of Olive Oil and bake until golden ( 20 minutes at 350 degrees).
